2014-07-12 US: 10 Supreme Court Rulings That Turned Corporations Into People

===2014-07-12 US: 10 Supreme Court Rulings That Turned Corporations Into People===
Last week's decision is the latest in a 200-year-long line of rulings giving businesses the same rights as humans.

I recall reading a while ago that already Justice Brandeis, noted that corporations were the primary beneficiary from the 14th amendment, not humans in Supreme Court rulings by his time... I guess that was the outcome of the Civil War... Slavery was never abolished, but corporations became persons...
One should also note that County of Santa Clara v. Southern Pacific Railroad (1886), at the height of the Robber Baron Era and court corruption, is a notorious example of a simulated decision record of the Supreme Cour (hand written, not digital as they are today).
And finally, one should note that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg referred to it in her Hobby Lobby dissent as "the notion of corporate personhood". Apparently, she too sees it as a fraud on the court, going on for over a century...
