===2014-07-22 GAZA: Israeli Human Rights organization B'tselem report on the deaths in Abu Jama'a family===
Twenty five members of the same family were killed when their home was bombed with no advance notice.
On Sunday evening, July 20, the home of Abu Jama'a family in Gaza was bombed. The extended family lived in the building: The mother - Fatma Abu Jama'a' her four sons, their wives and their children. The family was seated for the Ramadan evening meal. Initial investigation by B'tselem shows that the target of the attack was probably Ahmed Suleiman Sahmud, a member of the military wing of Hammas, who visited one of the family members.
All that were in the building at that time were hurt in the bombing: 25 members of the Abu Jama'a famly were killed, as well as Ahmed Suleiman Sahmud. The rest were wounded' including at least three of the sons of the mother Fatma Abu Jama'a and one of her daughters, who were hospitalized in the A-Nassar medical center in Han Younes.
To the best of B'tselem's knowledge at this time, there was no adavnce warning prior to the bombing. We will continue to investigate this incident.
