No matter how the US government manipulates unemployment and GDP data, the reality is that the US never got out of the crisis that started in 2008.
This is not a Keynesian business cycle recession. This is a depression. Its cause is thorough corruption of government and financial systems (as was the case in the Great Depression of the 20th century). And it would not be resolved until corrective measures addressing the corruption are effectively implemented!
